This policy explains what personal information Humbg collects, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It applies to this website and to the Humbg banking platform.
We collect only what we need to open and operate your account, to keep the platform secure, and to meet our legal obligations.
Information we collect
When you create an account we store your first name, last name, email address and a hashed password. We never store passwords in readable form.
When you use the platform we record transactions, beneficiaries, cards, savings goals and support messages that you create, because a banking interface cannot function without them.
We record security events — sign-in attempts, password changes, two-factor changes and administrative actions — in an audit log with the time and originating IP address.
Why we use it
To operate your account and show you accurate balances and history. To keep the platform secure and to investigate misuse. To respond when you contact support. Nothing else.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertising networks.
Cookies
This site sets a small number of cookies required for it to work: a session cookie for signed-in users, and a preference cookie remembering whether you dismissed a notice. The cookie policy lists them individually.
Retention
Account data is kept while your account is open and for the period required by law after it is closed. Audit log entries are retained for twelve months. Deleting your account removes your profile, accounts, transactions and support history from our systems.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us at hello@humbg.com and we will respond within thirty days.
Security
Access to personal data is restricted to staff who need it to operate the platform. Transfers and profile changes are written to an audit log. Two-factor authentication is available on every account.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change affects you, tell you by email.
